Tignes

Boisses & Brévières

A trip down to "Brév" is one of our favourite days out, especially when the sun's shining.

Most people reach it via the spectacular Aiguille Percée or Eye of the Needle, a totally natural and very stunning rock formation and one of the best photo stops in the whole ski area.

For the more adventurous, the black Sache will take it out of you or, off-piste, there's the Vallon de la Sache. Either way, you'll have earned lunch by the time you reach the bottom.

The village itself feels very different from the rest of Tignes, with a much more traditional Alpine atmosphere. For lunch in the sun there's the fast-food place just opposite the bubble by the bridge but those in the know head instead into the village itself to one of the more authentic restaurants there.

The whole trip can be completed on easy blue runs, and it's definitely worth it just for the satisfaction of looking at the piste map over dinner and seeing how far you've skied.
