Things To Do In Val d'Isère

Things To Do In Val d'Isère

Of course most people come to Val d'Isère to ski but there’s far more to the resort than just skiing.

Whether you have a non-skier in your group, the weather’s bad and you can’t get up the mountain, you’re looking for entertainment after a day’s skiing, you’re searching for an adrenalin burst or your legs just fancy an afternoon off your skis, Val d’Isère has so much to offer.

On the mountain there are activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing and various “in-air” activities. In the village there’s everything from our fantastic pool and sports complex to ice skating, fat biking, different guided tours, ice climbing, dog rides, and much much more.

For spectators there are regular events of all sorts from the World Cup ski races which take place here every December to the weekly Thursday night entertainments in the main street to classical musical concerts in the stunning 17th century church.

If you’d rather participate than spectate there are regular ski touring and cross country events starting in the village square or get back to the 80s with the World Monoski Championships in April.

For more tamer entertainment, of course there’s always shopping
